Helping a Cardinal

Think this guy sprained/injured his wing. We were cutting up trees for firewood today (chainsaw therapy - would recommend) and found this guy in the woods. He obviously has a sprained/broken wing. We got a cage and set him up with birdseed/water/roost/hay. Normally we might call a vet or something but it seems like everything is closed. Hopefully, he will heal on his own! Nature is emerging from winter hibernation here in Maine! The woods is a busy place these days!
