lip scrub tropical escape
don't really have many clever or poetic or funny or poignant things to say right now - actually feeling kinda sloppy and graceless on the day to day - but what i do have is this simple and divine scrub for your smoocher that will leave your lips super soft, which your pets* will appreciate when you're kissing the tops of their heads (which the cdc has recommended we stop doing, but what else is there???)
*apologies if you don't have pets, but you could still benefit from this*
made with tiny amounts of two semi-precious (but hopefully not too too precious) pantry staples, i promise it's worth it:
2 tsp brown sugar (or other sugar, but brown sugar i've found to be the nicest balance of pleasantly abrasive but gentle)
1 - 1 1/2 tsp olive oil
mix thoroughly in a tiny bowl (the smaller/cuter the better) and massage gently into your lips for as long as you feel like it. rinse with warm water. it will feel like your lips just took a vacation to somewhere very relaxing, warm and perfect!
neway .. lmk if you enjoy the lip scrub, yeah??
